I’m sure you’ve seen that Oklahoma wants to put Trump’s Bible in all of their classrooms. There is so much wrong with this on so many different levels.
The specific part I want to mention is the constitution. It has the constitution, the pledge, etc in the Bible. You just don’t mix a religious text with anything related to the government.
It actually gets worse than that. The Bible in question doesn’t include all of the constitutional amendments. It only has 1-10. It’s missing 11-27. What are some of the things included in 11-27?
The 13th amendment abolishes slavery.
The 15th amendment allows all races to vote.
The 19th amendment allows women to vote
The 22nd amendment limits the president to 2 terms
The 26th amendment is the right to vote at age 18
Side note: Oklahoma is ranked 49th in the country for education.
